I am an Auxiliar de Conversacion from the United States. My job is to assist English professors at a primary school, and I also offer private English lessons for adults. I have been working here for a year, and will be here for one more year. At university I studied Child Development, so I have a speciality in working with children.

I prefer to focus on a student's goals for learning English when teaching. I want to teach them what they need to know to be successful. For example, if you want to learn the basics of English we will focus on the basics, or, if you want to pass a language exam we will focus on what's needed to pass that exam. It is important to read, write, listen and speak when learning a new language, and I use all these methods in my lessons.
