CURSO DE NUEVE SEMANAS 'COACHING', CUATRO HORAS SEMANALES.

El curso que ofresco aquí está dirigido a aquellos de ustedes que desean, por un lado, sentirse más practicados y seguros y listos con las respuestas que necesitan en su entrevista laboral en inglés en términos de su contenido y, por otro, tener el idioma inglés que necesitas listo y practicado. No hay embargo de nivel en este curso ya que cualquier estudiante de inglés L2 solo puede beneficiarse de la práctica realizada.

NUEVE SEMANAS DIVIDIDO EN TRES:

SEMANAS 1, 2 y 3. LA PREPARACION
Nuestro primer objetivo es llegar una profunda comprension de cada una de las preguntas de entrevista de trabajo más probables en términos de su intención psicológica. ¿Cuál es el verdadero propósito de la pregunta? ¿Qué hay que decir y qué hay que dejar muy sin decir? Es posible que haya estudiado estas preguntas antes en su vida o no, pero siempre se beneficiará al revisarlas, en cualquier idioma. Con ese fin, en esta etapa emprenderemos en paralelo el mismo estudio de contenido, pero en idioma español, para garantizar cero equívocos o malas interpretaciones, ya que la comprensión de las preguntas es de importancia crítica para el objetivo del curso.

"Hábleme de uno de sus puntos de carácter más débiles" es un viejo y cansado cliché de una pregunta que podría esperar razonablemente en la entrevista. ¿Cómo no pasar por defecto a una imitación de todas las respuestas estándar de farol..doble.. triple farol que se oyen por alli? ¿Cómo se te ocurre una respuesta que, en lugar de hacer reír al entrevistador, haga que él o ella se maravillen de tu ingenio y originalidad? Todo esto debe ser explorado y manejado.

SEMANAS 4, 5 y 6. DEJAN LLOVER PALABRAS..
Ahora completaremos unas lluvias de ideas, en ambos castellano y ingles para cada pregunta con el fin de acumular vocabulario, frases adecuadas y material léxico en el registro más adecuado para la entrevista.

Hablaremos regularmente sobre el lenguaje corporal, el control, ajuste o eliminación de tics físicos, donde posible, el uso y control de las manos, los gestos y el contacto visual. No se trata solo del idioma inglés, clarisimo..

El Currículum Vitae no nos puede permitirnos en demasiado detalle, ya que este es el tema de otro curso por completo, pero al menos aprovecharemos esta oportunidad para identificar cualquier defecto claro y sugerir formas en las que usted puede modificar o recomponer a su propio ritmo hacia cualquier eventualidad laboral.

Y al mismo tiempo ensayaremos las preguntas, cada una repetidamente, presentando nuevas ideas poco a poco y construyendo su arsenal de alternativas de frases y léxicas para ser seleccionadas y mezcladas de acuerdo con las particularidades de la entrevista.

SEMANAS 7, 8 y 9. TODO GRABADO PARA LA REFERENCIA INSTANTANEA
Una vez ensayado adecuadamente, es hora de tratar de recrear parte de la emoción y el estrés agradable que la entrevista debe traer y con cometernos tus respuestas a video usando tu propio movil. Esto al menos simulará nominalmente algo de la presión que inevitablemente debes sentir en tu entrevista real. Ahora también tendrá sus registros de cada respuesta a las preguntas de su entrevista a las que puede referirse instantáneamente, los frutos de su trabajo en preparación directa e inmediatamente disponible para futuras situaciones de entrevista.

OBJECTIVOS GENERALES
Mi objetivo en todos los casos es a través del beneficio de mi visión nacida de la experiencia para facilitar dentro de usted un sentido de derecho de propiedad de mi idioma y su internalización concomitante dentro de usted. Nueve semanas es muy poco tiempo para lograr esto, sin embargo, con la impartición de ciertos principios psico-lingüísticos se puede esperar un resultado rápido y muy positivo. Son asuntos de la perspicia, mas que estudio bruto. Estamos hablando de cosas que te harán preguntarte por qué no habías pensado en ellas tú mismo. El mero hecho de una conversación centrada regularmente durante las nueve semanas del curso es en sí misma una fuerza para su mayor relajación con el idioma inglés, facilitando un flujo de confianza natural que en la entrevista sabrás que puedes confiar.

Y PARA LOS LATECOMEROS..
Cuando lo haya dejado tarde y estés bajo la presión del tiempo frente a una entrevista inminente, le ofreceré una condensación reducida del curso descrito anteriormente. Sin embargo, le desaconsejo encarecidamente la falta de buen planificacion y la obligación de apurarse. La exigencia lingüística a la que se espera que responda bien en la entrevista debe tomarse en serio y una actitud de 'que mas da' podría, a largo plazo, desperdiciarle más tiempo y dinero del que podría haber pensado ahorrar. Una versión abreviada intensa del curso de nueve semanas tendrá una tarifa desproporcionadamente más alta para proporcionar un mayor incentivo para el aprendizaje relajado y sin presión del curso completo de nueve semanas.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE JOB INTERVIEW COACHING COURSE NINE WEEKS DURATION

My name is John and I have been teaching English to Spanish speakers since 1992.

OVERVIEW
The course offered here is directed to those of you who would like to on one hand feel more practiced and confident and ready with the answers you need at your English language job interview in terms of their content and on the other have the English language that you need ready and practiced. There is no level embargo on this course since any English L2 learner can only benefit from the practice undertaken.

NINE WEEKS DIVIDED INTO THREE:

WEEKS 1, 2 and 3 PREPARATION
Our first objective is to reach a firm understanding of each of the most probable job interview questions in terms of its psychological intention. What is the true purpose of the question? What needs be said and what needs to be left very much unsaid? You may have studied these questions before in your life or you may not, but you will always benefit by revising them -- in any language. To that end we shall at this stage undertake in parallel the same study of content but in Spanish language in order to ensure zero equivocation or misinterpretation since an understanding of the questions is of critical importance to the objective of the course.

''Tell me about one of your weaker character points'' is a tired old cliche of a question you might reasonably expect at interview. How not to default to an imitation of all the standard bluff.. double.. ..triple-bluff answers which do the rounds? How come up with a response which instead of making the interviewer laugh will make he or she marvel at your ingenuity? All this must be explored and gotten to grips with.

WEEKS 4, 5 and 6 IT'S RAINING IDEAS ..
We shall now complete a brainstorming session for each question in order to amass vocabulary, apt phrases and lexical material in the register most suitable to the interview.

Meanwhile, apart from natural spontaneous conversation during some of which you get to express ideas and preoccupations with the interview process we will speak regularly about body language, the control, adjustment or elimination of physical tics, the use and control of hands, gestures and eye contact. This is not just about English language..

The curriculum vitae can not be gone into in too much detail since this is the topic of another course entirely but we shall at least use this opportunity to identify any clear defects and suggest ways in which in your own time you can modify or recompose to suit whichever laboural eventuality.

And at the same time we will rehearse the questions, each one repeatedly, introducing new ideas little by little and building up your arsenal of phrasal and lexical alternatives to be picked and mixed according to the particularities of the interview.

WEEKS 7, 8 and 9 ALL RECORDED FOR INSTANT FUTURE REFERENCE

Once adequately rehearsed it is time to endeavour to recreate some of the excitement and enjoyable stress the interview must bring and to this end we will commit your answers to video using your own mobile. This will at least notionally simulate a little of the pressure you must inevitably feel at your real life interview. You will also now possess your records of each answer to your interview questions to which you may refer instantaneously, the fruits of your labours in direct and immediately available preparation for future interview situations.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES
My objective in every case is through the benefit of my insight born of experience to facilitate within you a sense of right of ownership of my language and its concomitant internalisation within you. Nine weeks is very little time to accomplish this, nevertheless with the impartation of certain psycho-linguistic principles a rapid and very positive result can be expected. We are talking about things which will make you wonder why you had not thought of them yourself. The mere fact of regular focused conversation over the nine course weeks is of itself a force for your increased relaxation with the English language facilitating a flow of natural confidence which at interview you will know you can rely upon.

AND FOR THE TARDY..
Where you have left it late and you are under time pressure confronting an impending interview I will offer you a reduced condensation of the course described above. However I strongly discourage you from any such lack of good timing and the forcing upon yourself of any hurry. The linguistic exigence you will be expected to respond well to at interview must be taken seriously and an attitude of 'que mas da' could in the long term waste you more time and money than you might have thought to save. A shortened intense version of the nine week course will carry a disproportionately higher fee in order to provide greater incentive to the relaxed unpressured learning of the full nine week course.
