I'm Christy, a TESOL-certified English teacher based in Terrassa, with a passion for helping people communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in English. Whether you're a complete beginner, a student preparing for an exam, or a professional who needs to perform in English at work - I've got a programme designed specifically for you.
My qualifications:
I hold a Trinity College London CertTESOL (Ofqual Level 5) one of the most prestigious English teaching certifications in the world alongside a Master's degree in AI for Business and a Bachelor's in Computer Science. I am also a certified Pearson English International Certification Interlocutor, officially trained to conduct Pearson speaking examinations which means I know exactly how official exams are assessed and I use that insider knowledge to give my students a real advantage.
My background:
Before becoming an English teacher, I spent over six years as an IT Trainer teaching professionals and students how to use computers, build websites, and design graphics using English as the medium of instruction. I then worked as an IT Marketing Manager collaborating with international teams and clients across industries. I have taught privately in Barcelona and Thailand, bringing international classroom experience and cultural sensitivity to every lesson.
My speciality: Business English
I specialise in Business English for professionals who need English as a real working tool — not just a subject to study. My lessons cover professional emails, meetings, negotiations, presentations, job interviews, and industry-specific vocabulary. My neutral, clear accent is especially easy for Spanish speakers to shadow and understand, and exactly the accent I teach you to produce, so you're understood confidently in London, New York, Singapore, or anywhere in the world.
