Sobre Valentina
I was born in Argentina with an Italian heritage, moved to Madrid in 2001 and finally set up in Valencia in 2017 due to personal and professional reasons. My passions are languages, literature, running, music and travelling. Teaching has always been my vocation, and therefore I have started teaching classes very early in my career path. My beginnings were as a mentor for private classes in 2008, teaching as an intern in a private academy in 2012, and since then, never stopped working and learning in order to improve and become a better professional. I have been also volunteering as the official translator and interpreter for an NGO, Idea Libre, since 2015. This organization is in charge of building schools and feeds children in some of the poorest areas in the world (Morocco and Kenya).

As a teacher, my primary focus is to facilitate my students the tools they need to acquire with the purpose to become great professionals and successful adults. I have the empathy to connect with my pupils, but also the necessary authority to conduct a class. Thanks to my former position as a junior teacher coordinator, I got accustomed to communicating effectively with parents, and also explaining to parents and students their evolution and progress in class. Furthermore, apart from almost nine years of experience teaching English to kids in group classes, one to ones or preparing for Cambridge exams, I have also experienced an internship at a very well known school in Madrid, Colegio Cardenal Spínola, where I could learn how to deal with cases of special needs such as Down syndrome, epilepsy or autism.
As a person, I am willing to provide students with power, motivation and enthusiasm. As a hard-working and dynamic teacher, I would like to highlight that teaching is not only my vocation but also my passion. As an employee, I enjoy spending time with my colleagues and work in a multicultural atmosphere, where I usually stand out for being organized, decisive. and responsible. However, I can also be spontaneous and flexible, which is essential when you teach children.
