Sobre Šarlota
Hi! I’m an English teacher with a strong academic and international background.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Anglophone Studies from Metropolitan University Prague, where I developed a strong foundation in English linguistics, phonology, grammar and language, and a Master’s degree in European Studies from NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) in Norway, focusing on international relations, politics, European Union, history, and much more....
Both of my degrees were fully taught and completed in English. Thanks to my international academic background, English has become a natural part of my everyday life — I communicate in English on a daily basis and use it 100% of the time in many aspects of my life.
I have 3 years of experience giving private English lessons, working with students with different levels, needs and learning goals. I currently work as an English teacher at an English academy, mainly teaching children and teenagers up to the age of 15.
My academic background allows me to understand English beyond just vocabulary and basic grammar, while my teaching experience has taught me how to explain things clearly and make lessons engaging and practical.
Whether you want to improve your grammar, pronunciation, speaking, vocabulary or overall confidence, I will adapt the lessons to your level and goals.
I believe that learning English should be useful, enjoyable and, most importantly, something you can actually use in real life.

Hi! I'm an English teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Anglophone Studies and a Master's degree in European Studies.
What can I help you with?
Whether you want to:
️ Speak English more confidently and naturally
Improve your grammar and vocabulary
Develop your pronunciation and phonology
Become more fluent in conversation
️ Improve your writing and accuracy
Prepare for exams and academic English
Improve your English for professional or international environments
Finally understand why English works the way it does
…I adapt the lessons to your level, goals and learning style.
My approach
I don't believe in simply giving you lists of grammar rules to memorise.
My background in linguistics allows me to explain why something is correct, how native speakers actually use the language, and what the differences are between formal, informal, written and spoken English.
At the same time, my teaching experience means that I focus on making that knowledge practical and useful. The goal is not to impress you with complicated terminology - it's to help you communicate better.
Clear explanations + real communication + personalised practice = progress.
Whether you're starting from scratch or already have a high level and want to polish your English, we can work together to take your English to the next level.
Let's make English something you understand, use and enjoy - not something you are afraid of.
