Sobre Sofiya
I am an experienced Russian-speaking tutor with a degree in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication. In my work, I focus on the balanced and subsequent development of all language aspects (listening, reading, speaking, writing, grammar and vocabulary development), cultural competence and soft skills.
Over the years of practice, I have worked out an efficient approach to improve and master my student's English exactly in a way they need it to be confident users of the language in settings they use it most.
Being a goal-oriented person, I offer classes tailor-made for the needs of each student creating a personal progress map with measurable and trackable steps towards student's aim.

Depending on your aim, I design a set of lessons that will help you achieve it. I use a big variety of authentic digital resources (audio, video, visual) to make learning diverse, captivating, and aimed at a profound understanding of the language and culture.
My scope is:
- General English (teenagers and adults)
- Business English and Intercultural Communication
- Academic English
- English for specific purposes (a big fan of IT field and have a vast experience in teaching it)
- IELTS, BEC preparation
