Sobre Clement

I am a Danish expat that has been studying and using English personally, for just about 12 years. The first 10 of those years, I was studying in different learning facilities and schools, where I learned everything from basic grammar, using the English language to express myself clearly and creating a vast and astonishing vocabulary, too much bigger accomplishments like, writing long, elaborate essays and translating to-and-from English in both Danish, Spanish and French.

I have since then had many international relations and met a lot of different people from all over Europe, which has given me extensive experience with using the English language to communicate, with both native English-speakers and people who haven't had English as their first or even second language. This resulted in me finding a Spanish speaking partner, and we have daily for the last two years spoken primarily in English, which has made me fully fluent in English as well as served as a way to keep up my language skills, even after finishing my education.

My method is incredibly simple; all of the class will be in English, from start to finish. This is because scientific studies have shown that the best way to learn a language is simply, by speaking it and practicing.
The classes will be the two of us having conversations in English, starting off with what you know already as the base, and then building your vocabulary and conversational skills from there. The subject of the different classes can be customized to your specific needs, by us making a plan of the different things that you would like to get out of the classes together.

Examples of things we will be doing in class:
Go around your house and put post-it notes on all the things you don't know the name of in English.
Going out to the nearest supermarket or store, and going around and talking in English about the different items and their prizes, to get a full picture of the things you use every day.
Translating songs in English that you like, together.
