Sobre Isla Shae
Soy investigadora juvenil en el Laboratorio de Bienestar Juvenil de la Universidad de Toronto. Nací en Toronto, Canadá y hablo inglés todos los días. Soy padre, educo a mi hijo en casa, así que estoy familiarizado con los métodos de enseñanza que funcionan para principiantes en lectura, escritura, ortografía y conversación. Algo que me gusta decirle a mis alumnos, cuéntame algo aburrido de ti. Empiezo: no me gusta el sabor del coco.

Class intro: We will discuss a topic i.e what you did on the weekend. From there we use grammar and conversation to elaborate on those items: I went to the market with my sister. We saw many apples, pears, and dragon fruit. I like the yellow ones but i dislike the red ones.
Reading and writing activities: For homework, I assign anywhere from a few sentences to a paragraph entry of something that happened in the past week. I want you to describe a portion of your week in one or two sentences. In class we go over that writing piece together, making sure pronunciation as well as making sure grammar is accurate. We finish class by covering any questions you may have about topics in class, about the homework from the previous week or the upcoming homework.
