I would like to work as an English Language teacher (I studied English literature and I’ve got an EFL teaching certificate). I like to work with students of all ages and my passion is learning and teaching languages. I am a Spanish citizen and I have lived in America most of my life, I am currently living the Barcelona Area.

I studied English Literature and after graduation I started teaching at the same university; I have taught undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professors. Also, I have worked at all educational levels including young children. I’m currently teaching first certificate for teens and adults in the Barcelona Area. I am familiar with the Cambridge Exams, with the TOEFL and PSAT and SAT.
Teaching at a state university has enrichened my life; for example, last year I was lecturing about academic writing to graduate students, I was part of a group of professors who taught chemistry students how to publish in English. We had to plan the program and we had to deal with all sorts of students (different language levels and learning styles); these factors allow me to be an excellent team player.
Other skills that help me be an excellent tutor (and invigilator) are my meditation and yoga practice, I’m a yoga practitioner and instructor. This way of life has helped me deal with people in a patient and open-minded manner; all these experiences make me a good listener and a problem solver.
