Project Description:
The project entitled “Changemakers” is a mobility project for youth workers from 6 European countries, who are beginners in working with disadvantaged youngsters (orphan, Roma, unemployed, poor, or at risk youth), but have experienced in working with youngsters using non-formal education.
Our main goal is to help them to grow their soft and hard skills, competences in the field of disadvantaged youth work, and increasing the level of theoretical and practical knowledge about the non-formal methods during a 10 day program. At the end of the program participants will get a Youth Pass, which confirms their improvements.
Participants Profile:
• Aged above 20 years,
• Youth leaders/workers, social workers, trainers, facilitators,
• Beginners in disadvantaged youth work,
• Actively involved in the youth field and interested in working with disadvantaged youngsters,
• Commit to use and share the new knowledge, skills and techniques in their work and activities,
• Speak fluently English (which will be the working language for the training course).
