What to expect:
In the trial lesson, I’ll share the resources and topics I use. We'll also discuss your learning goals. This way, we can be sure that the lessons are personalized, dynamic and interesting.
To ensure the best learning experience, I work with students who already have a basic level of English (B1 level or higher).
Based on what we discuss during the trial lesson, I will create personalized lessons to fit your level and professional needs.
If your goal is:
Communicating with healthcare professionals and patients: we can focus on speaking practice, role plays and building your medical vocabulary. My background as a registered nurse allows me to understand the language and communication skills required in healthcare settings.
Pass the OET: Whether you are taking the OET for the first time or retaking it, I can help you develop the language skills, exam techniques, and confidence needed to succeed. As an OET-trained teacher with a healthcare background, I can help you prepare effectively for the exam while also building the communication skills needed for real-world clinical practice.
All corrections are written down during the lesson so that you have a record of these mistakes, which makes it easier for you to review and improve.
General English topics can, of course, be included (there’s more to life than work after all!).
So! I encourage you to book a trial lesson so we can get to know each other! A twenty-five-minute trial lesson is sufficient time to make a solid plan.

I am a native English speaker from Ireland. I am a TEFL-qualified English tutor with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Master's Degree in Health Sciences (Palliative Care).
I have completed specialized training in teaching English pronunciation. This course has equipped me with practical classroom skills to help students improve their clarity, communication and confidence.
I have also completed OET Teacher Training to help nurses and doctors pass the Occupational English Test by developing skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
I am passionate about teaching English to healthcare professionals. Having worked as a palliative care nurse in Ireland for 4 years, my experience has helped me greatly in supporting non-native English speakers to feel more confident in the English-speaking healthcare environment.
