Sobre Mariana
I’m originally from Ireland, from a Portuguese family, and now based in Barcelona. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping people improve their confidence in English through relaxed, conversation-focused lessons.
I’m a patient and easygoing teacher, and I like adapting lessons to each person’s goals and personality. Whether you want English for work, travel, or everyday conversation, I aim to make lessons useful and enjoyable.
In my free time I enjoy training jiu-jitsu and yoga, going to the beach, coffee spots around Barcelona, and learning languages myself.

My lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals - whether you want to improve your speaking skills, prepare for interviews, travel more confidently, use English for work, or simply sound more natural in everyday conversations.
As an Irish native speaker living abroad, I understand the challenges of learning and using another language in real life. My goal is to make students feel comfortable speaking English from the very first lesson.
