Hi I’m Ellie, an American girl living in Valencia, Spain. I currently teach English in a primary school (ages 5-12) and teach separately adults (ages 19+). I love sharing my language with each other just as much as I love learning the Spanish language. I understand how hard and scary it can be to learn a new language but it’s so much easier when you work with someone who understands.

Each class we will work on “small talk” helping you gain confidence in speaking in English. Using a combination of movies, music, and life topics to work on phonetics (pronunciation), grammar, and vocabulary. This is not a regular class but a class making learning the language less stressful but fun! Learning a language is about making mistakes and using what you have to speak and learning new vocabulary and grammar through each conversation. Recommended: 2 classes per week 45 minutes. Each week you will learn new vocabulary and grammar (Day 1), then homework (watch a movie, listen to, read (whichever you prefer), then talk and practice using what you learn (Day 2). This method is the most efficient way to learn and practice within a minimum of 2 days of practice per week.
