Sobre Lara
During my time in Montpellier and Beijing, I taught after-school English classes and provided one-on-one tutoring sessions. The classes contained from four to ten students at a time, and the ages of my pupils usually ranged from 7 to 14, though I also gave the occasional class for adults. During these classes I had to find a way to combine the textbook work assigned by the academy with some more fun and interactive activities that could keep the children engaged.
I am currently working a few hours a week (online) for an academy in Cerdanyola.

I'm Lara from the United Kingdom. I have been teaching/tutoring for the last 6 years, and teaching online classes for the last year. I give individual and group classes, and I help students train for language exams. When teaching I use a combination of standard text books (including Cambridge preparation books) and native materials that I find online. This combination means that students get the core skills from the books, and experience of English in a 'natural' setting from the extra materials. This means that students can watch Youtube videos, read blogs, and do quizzes in the same way that a native English speaker would.
With younger kids I like to use games, songs, and art in order to teach, over the last year I have found ways to make online classes just as fun and varied as in-person classes.
My classes are very flexible and can be adapted to any student.

I am already teaching some classes at the moment, and finishing my Master's degree. For the moment, I cannot accept many more classes, and so the price is a little higher.
