Sobre Maria
I have a degree in Business Studies, worked for years in accounting and finance and for 15 years I have my own business. Between 1987-1990 I taught mathematics, calculus and accounting. In 2016 I collaborated in a comprehensive immigration center as a secondary school support teacher.
I am currently learning English and when I see the difficulties I have to learn it and the paths I take to overcome them I feel very capable of teaching my native language to foreigners.
I have Spanish-English exchange friends in the United States with whom I speak one day a week.
Teaching is a hobby for me.
Who knows if one day can be my new profession?

I try to help people to make good use of the tools available, that they pay attention to the words and that they listen at the same time they read. I generate conversations with vocabulary appropriate to their level and we will repeat that same vocabulary with other situations to be learnt it. I do not consider necessary to memorize grammar rules, I prefer that they understand situations.
It does not matter how old my students are.
If you are a student under 14, we could learn Spanish while doing homework.

María Jesús es una persona llena de alegría, paciencia, y amor de la vida! Mi hija (de Alaska) vivió con ella y su familia por un año escolar y casi no sabía español, pero su “madre española” le enseñó mucho español y mucho de la cultura española. Después del año, mi hija habló bien el español y había participado en eventos, fiestas y festivales gracias a María Jesús. Al final del año yo fui a visitarla y me trató lo mismo y me ayudó con mi español también. Hablar con ella es muy fácil y cómodo. Quien aprende español con ella tiene mucha suerte.
Disculpen mi español - estoy todavía aprendiendo.
