¡Hola! I'm Josh - I usually live in Melbourne, Australia where I help young people figure out what they want to get out of life. Sometimes people want to be surfers, sometimes they want to discover new insects, sometimes they want to become the prime minister. My job is to support them to achieve these goals - and I love to do it. I'd love to work with you to achieve your language goals and we can learn more about your future at the same time!

I employ a collaborative style of teaching where we can relate the content to the students' interests and imagination. As a youth worker, my practice gravitates towards a student-led approach as I believe in fostering the agency of young learners. A typical class schedule may look like: - short chat and catch up (build rapport) - we will choose a topic for the lesson (several options presented) - activity based on topic (memory games, conversation practice, drawing and labelling exercise) - comprehension exercise (either I will read a short story or we will create one together) - wrap up (overview of our learnings)
