Sobre Gerardo
I'm an advanced yoga instructor with more than 6 years of experience.
I led classes to individuals and groups indoors and outdoors, with people of all ages (from 8 to 60+) and levels.
Mainly I do Hatha or Ashtanga Vinyasa classes, or a combination of those.
I did a 'YOGA INSTRUCTOR' course in Argentina for 2 years of length learning teaching methods, human anatomy, history and philosophy of yoga and Hinduism, and the eight limbs of yoga. Additionally, I stayed in India for three months practising with a teacher in order to learn the primary series of the Ashtanga Vinyasa and basic PRANAYAMA techniques. Once finished, I received a '200 hs Teacher Training Course' certificate.

I follow the Mysore style - the classical teaching method of the Ashtanga Vinyasa series - in which the rhythm of the class is marked by the breathing of the practitioner.
I try to be as detailed as possible when I give the instructions because each detail on the movements make the final posture.
With me you won't rush, you'll have time to get into the posture (asana), stay and leave it being mindful of your body, breathing and feelings.
Be patient and diligent in your practice. I will help you to discover your inner capacities, motivating you to attempt new postures - or ways to go into them - without forcing. I believe more in the verbal guidance so I will apply physical adjustments on your body only when necessary, specially to correct the alignment.

Asistí a la clase de Gerardo en Tailandia. La clase fue muy productiva, variada y siempre corregía uno por uno a los alumnos cuando era necesario. Es muy buena opción como profesor ya que se ha formado en la india durante un largo periodo de tiempo lo cual le permite profundizar bastante en la práctica y transmitirte sus conocimientos de manera eficaz. Además, no se limita al ejercicio en sí, sino que entiende la parte espiritual, dimensión que últimamente queda muy relevada debido a la popularización que está teniendo lugar. Sin duda recomendable.
