Hello :)
My name is Karla and I am currently majoring in international business.
I grew up bilingual (Eng-Spa) in both Mexico and the US. However, as I got older, I started learning other languages at school and by myself such as French, German, and Korean.
I have always liked meeting new people and new cultures. I love languages and I like to teach so I have worked as a tutor for languages such as English, Spanish, Korean, and French.
I have also worked as a live interpreter and as a translator, translating texts of all kinds (medical, academic, scientific, etc...) from English to Spanish and viceversa.

As someone who has already learned and is learning several foreign languages, I know how difficult it is to learn a foreign language. For this reason, I am very patient, responsible, and kind and can help you have more confidence while speaking Spanish.
During the first class, we will discuss your goals and the difficulties you have with the language. We can focus on one or several aspects of the language, depending on the student.
I like to personalize my classes and make them entertaining so I will try to provide you with tools and other practice materials that fit your needs such as TV shows, songs, videos, diagrams, etc ...
Additionally, I think that when learning a language, speaking is really important. For this reason, during class, I focus on having the student practice this skill as much as possible.
I can help with translation too.
