Hi! I'm VerA. I have a Spanish bachelor's in Art, Language, and Western Literature; specialized in semiotic and methodology studies. Born in Argentina but raised in the States. I have several years of experience teaching Language and Literature courses in Private and Public Schools in Argentina. Before graduating, I lived in Mexico City to be able to have access to books in all the public Libraries from the State University, UNAM, and work on my graduate theses while I attended several classes for a semester. I collaborated with an editor of an agronomy magazine and started a project to write about the meat standards for Argentina. I also contributed to copy typing and editing from manuscript or audio. And for several years I worked online doing some web searching jobs for an educational video producer in Mexico City. I began to travel through South & Central America, with the purpose of spreading out a life project in the educational field, which used as a tool could make knowledge affordable to everyone, regardless of their economic level and time. I’ve traveled the continent for three years and to be able to do so I worked as a "Guardian of the Planet" in a program of animal rights in public schools in Mexico. I also started to organize vegan workshops to teach the importance and the need for a healthy diet. For several months I lived in Iguazu Falls, worked as a Spanish Language & Literature teacher, and also as an English teacher. After the school year was over I decided to cross to Brazil and enjoy the beaches of the Atlantic coast during the summer while focusing on writing a novel I started years ago… I ended up extending my visa in order to be able to stay, work, and learn the language. And for that, I accepted a house and pet sitting job for 6 months in the rainforest. I am a self-learner, jovial and open-minded with strong communicative skills. I transmit credibility and confidence. I consider myself a very organized and creative person, with a defined positive attitude. I was a resident in the United States during my first 12 years, so I am bilingual in Spanish-English, and have an intermediate level of Portuguese from living a year in Brazil. I also lived abroad in Europe, for several years in Madrid and in Barcelona. Love to consider myself as a citizen of the world and made great friends every place I went. Now I am using my experience and knowledge to help others in these particular moments we are transitioning.

As a language teacher, I offer tutorials and specially designed classes for your needs, level, and interests in learning Spanish, with the intention of always making the class dynamic & fun. I have an original pedagogical approach so you will rapidly learn in no time. Also, since 2014 I have been offering cooking workshops for young children and teens (6 to 12 years old), so I have good training in changing strategies to maintain attention and interest. Currently, I have been adapting classes to the needs of a dyslexic and ADHD disorder, teaching Spanish to 9 & 11-year-old children from the State by Zoom. Hola soy Vale! Hice varios talleres con Vera y todos fueron fantásticos! es una profe súper llenar de información y de la que por completo te atrapa! quisieras no dejar de seguirla y compartir mucho más con ella que un taller! Es apasionanda en lo que hace y sin dudas es el ingrediente que más necesitamos a la hora de querer incorporar nuevos conocimientos! No sé pierdan sus talleres, cursos! lo que sea que venga de ella!
Me encantaron las cases de inglés de Vera! Es muy dedicada, tiene un inglés perfecto por haber vivido en Estados Unidos, y sus clases son muy dinámicas. La super recomiendo!
He tomado clases de astrología con Vera en varias ocasiones (y aun lo sigo haciendo) de manera presencial y también online. Tiene una forma muy didáctica de enseñar en ambas modalidades y utiliza todos los recursos disponibles para hacer llegar ese conocimiento.
Cada encuentro es realmente muy movilizador y motivante a la hora de reconocer aspectos personales y aprender a trabajar con ellos.
Es una excelente persona y además muy responsable y atenta a las necesidades y curiosidades de cada alumno. Altamente recomendable, en especial su taller mensual RUEDA DE LOS CICLOS.
