Sobre Ioulia
At 18, I left my home to study abroad on a scholarship, driven by my curiosity and a strong work ethic. This journey broadened my global perspective and deepened my passion for teaching, particularly the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which instills essential skills like critical thinking, effective communication, and the preparation needed for university and professional success.
I believe Greek is an underrepresented language, especially given how many words in other languages have their roots in Greek. Learning Greek not only enriches your vocabulary but also opens doors to understanding diverse cultures. I am passionate about sharing the richness of Greek language and culture with people from all around the world.
In addition to my love for languages, I have a background in music, having attended a Music High School, and I also practice ballet. My experiences in the arts, combined with my academic pursuits, fuel my desire to inspire others. Through my lessons, I aim to not only teach Greek but also instill a sense of global awareness and the valuable skills the IB provides, contributing to a more interconnected and peaceful world.

Whether you're looking to learn casual, day-to-day Greek or need formal language skills for professional purposes, I tailor the lessons accordingly. Similarly, having experienced the IB firsthand, I understand its demands and provide targeted support to help students excel in exams.
A Typical Class Structure could look like this:
Review (10 min) – Recap previous lessons.
Core Lesson (30-40 min) – Focus on casual or formal Greek, or IB exam techniques.
Practice (15-20 min) – Exercises or discussions tailored to goals.
Wrap-up & Homework (5-10 min) – Summarize and assign tasks
