The methodology I like is always different with every student, I focus on the level and the necessities of the student, I try to use very common examples and situations that can be useful for the student in future real life situations. I like to prepare the classes with different topics to talk about and then I start introducing the grammar. If the student just wants to focus on an specific topic, it’s ok, we’ll do it. If the student wants to star from cero, we’ll do it step by step (depending of the student rhythm, the point is that the student understands everything until we change to another topic). So, these are just examples, but I’ve already said: the methodology and the rhythm depends on every student.
I’m studying industrial organization engineering, I’ve been working as an english teacher for 5-6 years with kids, classmates, friends and even people older than me. I like all the grammar stuff and I’ve found the way to compare english and spanish (I know it sounds a little bit crazy, but they’re more alike than you think, trust me), so I’ve been making friends from the US and UK who have been here for erasmus and thanks to them I’ve realized that I also can teach spanish to an english native person in a easy way. So let’s start!
