My name is Silvia and I have recently moved to Madrid to work as an English Language Teaching Assistant. I am a native English speaker, having lived in the United Kingdom since I was a child. I have a passion for teaching and helping people learn English, as I find it very rewarding!

Depending on the level of English, I can teach through play, conversation, listening and comprehension, and through writing and explanation. I am flexible with my teaching methods and will be guided by the way the student learns a new language! I think teaching is teamwork where we can work together until the desired goal has been reached!

I met Silvia as we are both English language assistants working in public schools in Madrid. Silvia is patient and understanding and puts in lots of time each week to develop extra curricular work to help her students to develop their language skills. I would recommend Silvia for her individual approach to each student’s learning, and her ability to realise what each student needs and taller her lessons and teacher to make sure each student gets the best outcome.
