Sobre Pilar
It all started when I was 20 years old, I knew that life couldn't be all about this, but it wasn't until I was 35 that I understood that traveling, learning and teaching languages was a way of life that I was passionate about. While working in different multinationals where I was trained at a business level, I learned a lot and developed communication skills and excellent customer relaciones. I lived in Edinburgh for 4 years where I worked in restaurantes and hotels and studied at university. There I started teaching Spanish to colleagues. Later I moved to Italy, after a few months I was teaching Spanish to Italians. It was then that I discovered that I had a passion for teaching my language and culture. I trained as a Spanish teacher and specialized in the TPRS method and Comprensible Input. I have been teaching for 8 years and I have created my own online academias to teach Spanish. I am committed, dynamic and authentic. I am good at motivating students and developing communication skills in others.

You will learn Spanish in a natural way. You will learn only what you need with the methodology TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) which is an input based approach to teaching language that focuses on the systematic instruction of vocabulary in a highly comprensible, personalized and contextualized manera. Dynamic classes focused on action in a real context, so that real and interesting situations are created that help you to understand and remember both Spanish structures and vocabulary more easily and consequently to maintain more fluid conversations. I help you to speak Spanish, building confianza, maintaining motivation and developing your communication skills to achieve your goal with the language.

Disfruto mucho estudiando español con Pilar. Le gusta mucho estudiar lenguas extranjeras y es capaz de explicar muy claramente las reglas gramaticales, comparándolas con las reglas de otros idiomas. Es muy diligente, precisa y comprensiva con los estudiantes. Aparte de eso, Pilar es una persona maravillosa. El mero hecho de que sea un hablante nativo eleva el nivel de su actividad docente a la profesionalidad.
