Sobre ALLISON
The TEFL Academy's Level 5 TEFL Diploma is recognized internationally, regulated by Ofqual (UK Government), accredited by Qualifi, and approved by the DEAC (U.S. Department of Education-recognized awarding body). TEFL courses gave me the essential teaching skills necessary to be an effective teacher of English. The program prepared me to plan lessons, understand theories of learning, get a grasp of effective teaching techniques, and learn how to assess students. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling at the university. As a native speaker of English and teacher, I understand the experiences of students learning English, which is a difficult language to learn. To help with fluency, I include instruction in "slang" and "colloquials" which helps to ensure an understanding of conversations students will have with other students.
