Sobre Joshua
English Coaching for Professionals | Business & Hospitality English
I’m Josh, a native English speaker from the UK and a TEFL-qualified English teacher based in Madrid. I hold a 120-hour Premier TEFL qualification, including specialist training in Business English and online teaching.
I specialize in Business and Hospitality English, helping professionals develop the confidence, fluency, and communication skills they need to succeed in international environments.
Having grown up in the hotel industry, I have a unique understanding of hospitality and the importance of clear, confident communication when working with international guests, colleagues, and clients. Combined with my extensive international travel and experience communicating across different cultures, I bring a practical and real-world approach to English teaching.
I believe professional English is about much more than grammar. It is about being able to communicate naturally, confidently, and professionally when it matters.
I can help you with:
Business English and professional communication
Speaking confidently in meetings and presentations
Job interviews and career development
English for hospitality and customer-facing roles
Communicating with international clients and colleagues
Improving fluency, pronunciation, and natural expression
Professional emails and workplace vocabulary
General conversation and building speaking confidence
My lessons are personalized, practical, and conversation-focused. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all textbook, I tailor each lesson around your goals, profession, and the situations you are likely to encounter in the real world.
I aim to create a relaxed yet professional environment where you can speak freely, make mistakes without pressure, and receive constructive feedback that helps you improve.
Whether you're looking to advance your career, communicate more confidently at work, prepare for an international role, or simply take your English to the next level, I will build our lessons around your objectives and your professional needs.
If you're serious about improving your English and becoming a more confident communicator, I’d be delighted to help.

My lessons are suited for Hospitality Professionals who strive to improve their level of English to provide a superior guest experience in their jobs, whether it be hotels, restaurants, or any other hospitality field.
