Sobre Michael
I am a qualified TEFL instructor with a long history in business, primarily sales and marketing. I hold a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Science. Before moving to Spain, I was a Regional Sales Representative for Komatsu, a heavy earthmoving machinery manufacturer. I have experience teaching English to both adults and children. I currently teach Business English for a language school in Madrid. I have also worked in an Australian Primary School, teaching children aged between the ages of 5 and 13.

I primarily utilize the Direct Method of teaching English. I first gauge a students level of English before creating a set of lesson plans, specific to their needs. My classes are highly interactive and utilize real world examples to teach through practical activities, usually involving conversation. I utilize videos for listening comprehension and to start discussions about current events. My background in Business allows me to teach my students content that is relevant to their work environment.
