Sobre JULIO
I’m a Chilean native Spanish speaker. Apart from my life in Chile, I have lived in the United States and Spain. I taught Spanish for the US Department of State and the University of Mary Washington for more than three years. I have an M.A. in Chilean and Hispano-American Literature, I’m the author of three books, and worked for 20 years as an Industrial Civil Engineer. Currently, I’m living in Seville and I'm finishing an M.A. on Creative Writing at Universidad de Sevilla.

My philosophy for teaching is straight forward. I think that to learn a new language is an opportunity for changing the world, particularly your world. It’s a powerful tool for building new realities. My methodology involves connecting personal and business interests with the target language using deductive grammar and systemic thinking. In this way, we make up a team. We work with opinion articles, columns, and short stories which we should read previously for generating high-level talks and useful vocabulary that allow you to progress dramatically.
