Sobre Jake
Hi I'm Jake. I'm from Birmingham, England. Home to the band Black Sabbath, the TV series Peaky Blinders and many football clubs.
I have a passion for teaching and love making each class a personal experience. My favourite classes are ones that include a topic the student is interested in, for example, an analysis of an episode of your favorite tv show or learning the true meaning of a song that you love.
My career before teaching was with the UK government so I am also able to provide accurate and professional classes in business English.

We will use resources from the American English File, TED talks, clips from TV shows and more. Classes will range from listening to audios, watching videos, speaking practice and reading exercises.
We can arrange an assessment plan to track your progress, which can be as formal or informal as you like.
The classes will always be tailored to your needs; either conversational or business English classes are available (or a mixture of both if required).
All levels are welcome but some experience with English will be useful so that we can make the most progress possible.
