Sobre David
Soy Bioingeniero y soy de Portugal, con un nivel nativo de inglés.
Estudié durante 12 años en una escuela bilingüe internacional (portugués/inglés) y mi Maestría en Bioingeniería se impartió parcialmente en inglés.
Durante mi último año de maestría me mudé a Austria, donde investigué y escribí mi tesis (en inglés).
Me mudé a Londres para empezar mi carrera como Bioingeniero en el sector farmacéutico, donde viví durante 2 años. Desde ahí he vivido en Bélgica, Suiza, Islandia y Barcelona, donde resido actualmente.
Recientemente hice el examen TOEFL, donde obtuve un nivel C1 (113/120), y puedo ayudarte y guiarte a través del mismo tipo de examen: TOEFL o IELTS.
Hablo inglés, francés, portugués y español, así que independientemente de tu idioma materno, te puedo ayudar!
I am a Bioengineer from Portugal, with a Native level of English.
I studied for 12 years in an international bilingual school (Portuguese/English) and my Bioengineering Master was partially taught in English.
During my final year of my Master I moved to Austria, where I did research and wrote my thesis (in English).
I moved to London to start my career as a Bioengineer in the pharmaceutical sector, where I lived for 2 years. Since then, I've lived in Belgium, Switzerland, Iceland, and in Barcelona, where I currently reside..
I have recently taken the TOEFL test, where I obtained a C1 level (113/120), and I can help and guide you through the same type of exam - TOEFL or IELTS.
I speak English, French, Portuguese and Spanish - so whatever your native language is, I can help!

Como estudiante de 5 idiomas (inglés, francés, español, alemán y holandés), mi estilo de enseñanza se basa en mi experiencia al otro lado de la clase de idiomas: ¿Qué método de enseñanza funcionó mejor para mí? ¿Qué me gustó aprender? ¿Qué podría haber sido mejor?
Teniendo esto en cuenta, las clases se basan en un aprendizaje inmersivo y mucha comunicación oral exclusivamente en inglés. Después de evaluar tu nivel, dividiremos las clases en 3 temas principales: vocabulario y escritura, comprensión auditiva y ejercicios de expresión oral.
También puedo ayudar en la traducción a inglés de documentos o ensayos que tengas del francés, portugués o español.
Being a learner of 5 languages - English, French, Spanish, German and Dutch - my style of teaching rests on my experience on the other side of the language class: What method of teaching worked best for me? What did I like to learn? What could have been better?
With this in mind, the classes are based on immersive learning and a lot of oral communication exclusively in English. After evaluating your level, we will divide classes in 3 main topics: vocabulary and writing, listening comprehension and speaking exercises.
I can also help with translating any documents or essays you have from French, Portuguese or Spanish.
