Sobre Elizabeth
I was born and raised in the United States and have 3+ years of experience working with learners of all ages, backgrounds and proficiency levels. I love what I do and consider myself very lucky to be a part of my students learning journey!
I graduated with my BA and TESOL certificate in 2018 and immediately after, moved to Spain. I have 3 years of experience teaching in academic settings but since the pandemic, have switched entirely to online platforms for giving private lessons. I have loved this change, and prefer teaching private classes because I can be attentive to my students needs to best support their goals.

I offer a personalized approach to classes based on my students goals and interests, but always make sure that my classes are dynamic and hands-on! Fluency is not about perfection, I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes. I believe having engaging conversation through topics they are interested in is a great way to take the pressure off.
I teach many conversation focused classes and for these I create discussion material and vocabulary comprehension based on videos or current events. For business English classes, we follow a more structured curriculum. We expand vocabulary related to general business situations and develop confidence to deal with people and basic issues in the business world through role-play activities and discussion. My classes can be with as much or as little structure as you want- that is up to you!
I offer the first meeting for free so that we can discuss your goals and come up with a plan together that will work towards reaching them :)
