Sobre Ali
I am a British national/mother tongue speaker living in Barcelona where I have been teaching English as a second language for three years. Before this I lived in Milan where I taught English as a private tutor and a teacher to young children in a nursery. Currently, I live in Barcelona where I teach for a private language academy, as well as giving company classes, telephone and online classes. I have a TEFL 120hr certificate, certificates from the Cambridge School of English in Barcelona for seminars attended, experience doing exam preparation, taught History to college students in the United Kingdom, business/company classes, extracurricular classes in public schools, teaching young learners as well as adults, and a large archive of material and methodologies.

My approach is to try and engage the student and make the classes active rather than passive. I treat every student as an equal and I aim to foster a positive work ethic in the class. My students are always at the forefront of my lesson planning and class time. I enjoy teaching any level and I see the challenge as an opportunity to grow my experience as a teacher.
