Sobre Rhys
I am a creative and experienced professional with over 10 years teaching a variety of subjects to many ages. I worked in UK Secondary Schools for 8 years teaching students with Special Educational Needs and emotional difficulties. I have also been a manager of a mental health and emotional needs department of a school, using a variety of ways to motivate students to learn.
I also have a PGCE and have taught Geography and Religious Studies in the United Kingdom.
I am currently teaching English as a Second Language having completed a CELTA quaification.
Further to this, I have a Master degree from the University of Bristol in Psychology of Education and a BA in Politics from the University of Northumbria.

I develop classes in response to what the student needs. I am able to follow textbooks or use authentic materials to develop the area of English for the student.
I am happy to teach for young adults or adults to any level of English, including Cambridge Exam prepration.
Depending on the student`s needs, I can teach the productive and receptive skills needed to learn English successfully!
A range of materials will be used to help read, listen and watch English programmes to encourage a variety of ways to expereince the English Language, as well as the use of games and speaking activities.
