Hi! I’m Tiara, a certified EFL instructor from the United States, currently living and teaching in Barcelona.
What makes my approach to teaching English unique is my diverse background: I hold a Level 5 TEFL Certification alongside a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. This blend allows me to bring a highly structured, analytical, and problem-solving mindset to language learning. I don't just teach you words; I help you understand the structural logic of the language so you can build sentence confidence naturally.
I have extensive experience designing highly customized lessons for a wide range of students. For young learners, I focus on boosting confidence and literacy through high-energy, game-based, and interactive activities. For adult professionals, I draw on my technical background to build practical, real-world modules tailored to very specific career goals.
I pride myself on maintaining a supportive, engaging, and positive environment where both children and adults feel motivated to participate, make mistakes, and excel!

I believe language is best learned through context and active production, not dry memorization. My methodology is completely student-centered and task-based:
Context-Driven Grammar: Instead of studying isolated rules, we learn grammar through real-world scenarios—like navigating professional tasks or daily city life.
Interactive & Immersive Media: I integrate real-world articles, audio, and case studies to get you thinking like a native speaker from day one.
Game-Based Learning (for Young Learners): For children, I use physical movement, Pictionary, scavenger hunts, and educational games so that language acquisition happens naturally and joyfully.
