Sobre Shelbie
I am a qualified TEFL native English teacher from the UK. I believe in life long education and learning. As a new second language learner myself, I understand the joy which comes from it and the frustration too. Because of this I will create a relaxed, communicative atmosphere during class, keep it interesting, fun and engaging whilst working to meet your objectives.
Teaching experience and education: 180 hour TEFL qualification, Masters Degree in Gender and International Development, Bachelors Degree in Film.
Other professional experience: I worked for two years at the University of Cambridge, running global Executive Education Programmes on Sustainability and Business. Prior to this, I had a lot of experience in customer service and hospitality roles.
Additional skills, projects or interests: I am currently learning Spanish and Italian. I love to read and write and enjoy the outdoors.
