My name is Ciara. I am 22 years old. I am from Galway in Ireland. I think of myself as a positive, outgoing person, which is why I think teaching English is the perfect job for me. I currently work as a freelancer with a language teaching company called Vaughan. I studied Business and Accounting for several years in Ireland before becoming a teacher. I am currently living in Barcelona and I love it here!

My classes are remote (via Zoom) so I try to make them as fun and interactive as possible! The classes consist of oral learning exercises that cover topics like basics/fundamentals, Grammar, vocabulary and agility. I review and correct mistakes on the spot and throughout the class, I find this works extremely well with students and their performance. My students are praised consistently throughout classes to ensure their hard work and progress is recognised and appreciated.
