Sobre Kassiani
Hi! I am Australian born with Greek heritage and I have been living in Barcelona since July 2024. I have a University Bachelor of Education degree and TEFL certificate with over 6 years experience teaching in high schools in Australia. Since living in Spain, I teach English to a variety of students as young as 4 years old, teenagers and adults both in person and online at a small language academy. I also have experience teaching Business Economics, Home Economics (cooking & textiles) and Science. Additionally, I have taught lessons focusing on job preparation, involving resume/ CV writing and job interview practice. I have experience working in Disability Support Care, working with a range of levels and needs. I love helping students unlock their potential and gain confidence in using English to connect with the world. It's rewarding to see students improve and realize how language can open up new opportunities.

I always do my best to make sure lessons are engaging and of interest to the student, whether that be focusing on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, writing or a mixture. I strive to make my lessons as entertaining as possible so it doesn't feel like a bore! I will do my best to focus lessons around topics you are interested in and are most relevant. One of my strengths is building personal relationships with my students to get to know them and what they need to learn.
