Sobre Hunter
Hi! I’m Hunter, a friendly and motivated university student with a completed 120-hour TEFL qualification. I enjoy helping students feel more comfortable and confident when using English, whether they want to improve their speaking, grammar, vocabulary, reading or general communication skills.
I believe lessons should be supportive, engaging and adapted to each student. I take the time to understand what a student finds difficult and then build lessons around their individual level, goals and interests. Rather than simply memorizing information, I encourage students to actively use English through conversation, practical activities, questions and examples.
A typical lesson may start with a short warm-up or conversation, followed by a focus on the main topic or skill. We then practice together through activities and finish by applying what we have learned in a more natural conversation or task.
I am patient, organized, approachable and encouraging, and I want every student to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their English, but also to build their confidence and make learning something they can enjoy.
I am happy to work with students at different levels and adapt my lessons to their individual needs.

My approach to teaching is friendly, supportive and personalized to each student. As a TEFL-qualified tutor, I focus on making English lessons engaging and practical while helping students feel more confident using the language.
I adapt my lessons depending on the student’s level, goals and learning style. I like to combine conversation, vocabulary, grammar, reading and listening activities so that lessons are varied and interactive rather than simply focusing on worksheets. I also encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes, as I believe this is an important part of learning.
For example, a typical lesson could begin with a short conversation or warm-up, followed by introducing a new topic or vocabulary. We would then practice it through activities and exercises before finishing with a conversation task where the student can use what they have learned.
My strengths as a tutor are that I am patient, approachable, organized and encouraging. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can learn at their own pace and build their confidence.
My classes are suitable for students looking to improve their general English, conversation, vocabulary, grammar, reading and communication skills. I am happy to adapt lessons for different ages and levels depending on the student’s individual needs.
