Sobre Gabrielle
I am currently a Sculpture Instructor in Barcelona. It might seem unrelated, but artists are required to write various essays, bios, marketing material, website content and grants, throughout their profession. This has led me to help friends to edit their material for different international competitions, applications, etc.
Through these casual settings I have discovered that many people who speak fluent (or nearly fluent) English struggle with problems that arise in direct translation of things, vocabulary subtleties, spelling, grammar, and the correct wording (or voice, if you will) for casual and professional scenarios.

After making editing notes without the full context and knowledge behind the given writing, it is important that I discuss the writing with the student in order to derive their original intent and work with them to discover the most appropriate solution to get their points across fully and accurately in their writing.
