Sobre Karan
My TEFL course experience has allowed me to teach to various adult learners across the city of Barcelona. These students range in competence level anywhere from zero prior experience to advanced levels. My prior experience as an instructor in the classroom is in teaching an Informatics course at Indiana University.

I am a native English speaker from the United States who has recently graduated with a Bachelors of Science in political science from Indiana University. What sets me apart from other teachers is my modern vision in teaching language which is inspired by my various travels around the world and the experiences I have had in learning other languages. My personal touch in teaching is influenced by empathy and respect for the student, values I highly cherish and maintain.
I am TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certified which means I have completed 120 hours of instruction and education. I approach my students with a communicative methodology which emphasizes authentic language and target language to develop speaking, writing, listening and understanding skills.
