I met Dorancy in Medellin, Colombia through cycling. I have learned Spanish with her for two years and she is incredibly good at explaining things as well as being friendly and patient.

Being a native English speaker it takes us longer to grasp masculine and feminine concepts as well as the sentence structures in Spanish. At first, we practiced a lot of the grammar and basic concepts around the language including past and present tense then I progressed to more in-depth conversations.

I liked that we didnt revolve around a workbook and got straight into conversational spprogress, I recommend taking lessons with her.rrections) that's when you see the biggest leaps in your fluency and for that Dorancy is great to practive with.

From having 0 Spanish experience to being able to hold a conversation with locals has made the biggest difference in living here and managing day to day life.
