I consider that my greatest strengths when it comes to teaching are my ability to connect deeply with people, my flexibility, and my empathy. I know that starting to speak a different language with a stranger online can cause quite a bit of anxiety, and I am an expert in making sure that's not a problem :) I grew up in a bicultural family, so I not only understand languages logically and intuitively but also grasp the cultural background of each, allowing me to have a more complex perspective and a viewpoint from both ends. Among my interests are psychology, music, and writing. If you would like to chat freely and naturally while practicing and improving your language skills, I am the perfect tutor for you. :) See you in class! I'm Jen, a native Spanish and English speaker with Mexican and Canadian roots. I'm currently a psychology student, and I'm passionate about exploring art, music, and anything that involves imagination and creativity.
My sessions are designed *exclusively* for practicing everyday conversational English in a relaxed and effective way. They are ideal for intermediate-level adults who want to improve their fluency and confidence through real-life conversations.
It's important to mention that I am not a grammar expert, nor do I offer structured lessons. My sessions do not follow a formal curriculum but are instead focused on those who want to enhance their speaking skills in a natural, pressure-free environment. If you're looking for grammar-focused or structured lessons, I may not be the right teacher for you.
However, if you want to practice and build confidence in the language through conversation, I'd be happy to help!
