Sobre Wendy
Hi, I’m Wendy! I’m a bilingual English-Spanish teacher with experience teaching adults, teenagers, and children from different backgrounds and levels.
I grew up in the United States in a bilingual environment and have used both English and Spanish throughout my personal and professional life. Before teaching, I built an international corporate career in project management and operations, working with people from different countries and cultures.
That experience has shaped the way I teach languages today: communication comes first. I understand how frustrating it can be to know vocabulary and grammar but still hesitate when it is time to actually speak.
Because I am fully bilingual, I can also explain Spanish concepts from an English speaker’s perspective, helping you understand the differences between the two languages without making the learning process unnecessarily complicated.
My goal is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can practice, make mistakes, ask questions, and gradually become more independent and confident speaking Spanish.

My Spanish classes are designed for English-speaking adults who want to communicate confidently in real-life situations. Instead of focusing on memorizing grammar rules, we use Spanish from the beginning through practical conversation, useful vocabulary, listening practice, and everyday situations.
As a bilingual English-Spanish teacher, I understand the differences between both languages and can explain concepts clearly in English when needed. This is especially helpful for students who understand some Spanish but struggle to speak naturally or feel nervous using it.
Each class is personalized around your level, goals, and daily life. We may practice situations such as introducing yourself, ordering at restaurants, making appointments, shopping, traveling, talking with friends or colleagues, and handling everyday situations in a Spanish-speaking environment.
Grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary are taught naturally within these situations so that you understand not only what to say, but how to use Spanish confidently.
My classes are especially suitable for beginner and intermediate adults (A1–B1) looking for practical, supportive, conversation-focused Spanish lessons online.
