Infinitivo
El infinitivo expresa el significado del verbo de forma general, sin referencia a tiempo o persona.
Se forma con la partícula 'to' + verbo:
To run (correr)
To speak (hablar)
La forma negativa se construye con "not + to + verbo"
I prefer not to use it.
Prefiero no usarlo.
Como veremos posteriormente, podemos encontrar en inglés el uso de un infinitivo sin 'to'.
Además de la forma simple, el infinitivo tiene formas compuestas y pasivas:

Me gustaría haber estado viendo la tv cuando ella llegó (perfecto pasivo).

No especificaron con la excepción, si el verbo termina en consonante vocal consonante y si el último consonante es W no se repite por ejemplo
Draw = Drawing
Tendría que ser de una sílaba:run,running.Y draw no tiene una sílaba.Esta página está perfectamente.
