Imperativo
Se usa el imperativo o "imperative" para dar o realizar:
1 Instrucciones.
Turn to the right.
Gira a la derecha.
2 Órdenes.
Sit down.
Siéntate.
3 Consejos.
Lock the door before you leave.
Cierra la puerta antes de irte.
4 Invitaciones.
Have another cup of coffee.
Tómate otra taza de café.
5 Sugerencias.

Hay una forma enfática del imperativo, para suavizarlo.
Do + verbo en infinitivo sin "to".
Do be quiet.
Cállaos, por favor
La forma enfática negativa se forma con:
Don't + you + verbo en infinitivo sin "to".
Don't you come.
No vengáis
Para las question tags question tags y respuestas cortas se usa "will" , "can", o "would" dependiendo del énfasis que queramos darle.
Stay here, will you?.
Quédate aquí, ¿no? (más categórico)
Be quiet, can't you?.
Cállaos, ¿podéis? (un poco menos categórico)
Stay here, will you?.
Quédate aquí, ¿no?
Don't tell her the truth, would you?
No le digas la verdad ¿ querríais? (menos categórico)
Imperativo Afirmativo
Se forma con el verbo en infinitivo sin "to".

En inglés no se distingue si es 2ª persona del plural o singular a menos que se indique en la oración mediante el uso de un vocativo. Se sabe por el contexto.
