Writing Test – FCE (B2 First)
El FCE Writing Test evalúa tu capacidad para expresar ideas de forma clara, organizada y coherente en distintos tipos de textos que podrías usar en situaciones reales.
📆 Duración y estructura:
Tienes 80 minutos para completar dos tareas de escritura obligatorias.
📘 Task 1: Essay (Obligatorio)
Debes escribir un ensayo argumentativo donde analices un tema, presentes tu opinión y desarrolles ideas con ejemplos.
Se espera que logres:
- Introducir el tema.
- Presentar argumentos.
- Comparar puntos de vista y cerrar con una opinión clara.
Longitud: 140–190 palabras.
📬 Task 2: Elección entre 4 tipos de texto
Elige una de las cuatro opciones según lo que te resulte más cómodo:
1. Article (Artículo)
Texto dinámico y atractivo, dirigido a un lector general. Usa un tono cercano y ejemplos personales.
2. Review (Reseña)
Evalúa un libro, película, lugar, evento o experiencia. Incluye opinión, descripción y recomendación final.
3. Email/Letter (formal o informal)
Responde o desarrolla una situación concreta: pedir información, disculparte, hacer una sugerencia, agradecer, etc.
4. Story (Historia breve)
Crea una narración con inicio, desarrollo y final, usando lenguaje descriptivo y creatividad.
Longitud: 140–190 palabras.

En esta sección practicarás cómo:
- Organizar tus ideas en párrafos claros.
- Usar conectores para dar cohesión.
- Variar tus estructuras gramaticales.
- Comunicar tu opinión con claridad.
- Adaptar tu tono según el tipo de texto (formal, informal o creativo) y escribir con precisión, naturalidad y confianza, tal como Cambridge espera en el examen.
